I’m Tracy Whitmore

I am a qualified, experienced social worker, health & wellness coach and therapist. I enjoy spending time in Mother Nature, practicing yoga and embracing life’s adventures.

I offer all sessions internationally, via Zoom or Skype

My career has been driven by my desire to walk alongside individuals, supporting them to reach their dreams, both personal and professional.

As a health and wellness coach, I will support you to clarify what you want in life, why you want it and how to achieve it. My role is to coach, rather than direct you, therefore you will receive support, encouragement, and accountability. Together we can implement lifestyle changes that will result in realising your aspirations for health, happiness and a fulfilled life.

My focus is to heal and improve gut health, to improve energy and reduce anxiety, overwhelm and stress. This is achieved by implementing various strategies to ensure healthy sleeping habits, eating well without dieting, moving your body adequately and enjoying enough relaxation time. If therapy is what you’re looking for, you will experience a safe, non-judgemental space for your healing journey. The therapy I provide is informed and influenced by various therapeutic approaches (see Therapy page for more information).



Through my work with LGBTIQA+ people and their families I have developed a comprehensive understanding of the experiences of all ‘sides’, and have been in the unique and privileged position of being able to support young people and their parents to build or rebuild their connections with each other.

I am a strong advocate for the importance of family support in the wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ young people. In my work I foster such support and connections by providing parents/carers with a safe space to talk; accurate information; a kind, authentic, non-judgmental, listening ear; and an acknowledgment and understanding of the challenges and fears they may be experiencing. I am honoured to have been witness to amazing growth, understanding, and compassion, and to fabulous ‘Aha!’ moments, through this approach to developing and healing relationships. In all my work, my approach is to focus on you. Regardless of whether you are accessing therapy, coaching, or supervision, I will be guided by your individual needs and goals. You will experience a gentle, empathic, and (when needed) tenderly-challenging approach in whichever service you access. And throughout your journey, I will be walking beside you.

Wellness coaching feels like a natural progression and addition to my social work career. I am excited to embark on this journey, with people to support them to follow their personal and professional dreams.

I have over 10 years’ experience as a social worker, working in the areas of family violence, sexual assault, drug and alcohol support, and family and youth services. I also have 10 years’ experience working as a therapist and support worker with LGBTIQA+ people and their families.

During my social work career, I have provided supervision, consultation, and capacity building to individuals and to organisations, from private practice to NGOs, to government organisations.
